DIR & Prevailing Wage Compliance
Stay on the right side of the Department of Industrial Relations — every project, every payroll.
How this engagement actually works.
We handle DIR registration, PWC-100 filings, apprenticeship requests, and wage determinations so your team can focus on the build, not the paperwork.
- Initial assessment of your current workflow and risk exposure
- Documented system or process installed alongside your team
- Templates, calendars, and reporting your office will actually use
- Ongoing accountability with a direct line to senior consulting
A process that respects your time and rewards your build.
Whether we're cleaning up a single payroll cycle or rebuilding your entire back office, the rhythm is the same: listen, diagnose, install, stay accountable.
Every engagement follows the same disciplined rhythm — so you always know what's next, who owns it, and how it moves the business forward.

No legalese.
Don't see your question? Call us — we'd rather have a 10-minute conversation than write another paragraph.
If you work on California public works projects of any meaningful size, yes. The DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) requires contractors and subcontractors to register annually. We handle registration, renewals, and the project-level PWC-100 filings so nothing gets missed.
On public works, you must submit weekly payroll reports showing every worker, their classification, hours, wages, and fringes. California requires electronic submission through the DIR eCPR system. We prepare and file it for you, every week, in the format the state expects.
Bookkeepers track money. We track compliance, operations, and the construction-specific workflows your books depend on. We work alongside your bookkeeper, not in place of them.
Both. We've helped two-person shops survive their first public works job and helped established GCs build the back office for an eight-figure pipeline. The work scales to where you are.
We scope every engagement to the work. Most clients land in a flat monthly retainer for ongoing compliance and operations, with project-based pricing for audits or one-time implementations. We'll quote you after the discovery call.
Most engagements kick off within one to two weeks of the discovery call. Urgent compliance issues — a pending audit, a late payroll filing — we triage faster.
